So, the cat is finally out of the bag! I am officially pregnant with my third child. We have been trying for quite a while, so the whole family is overjoyed.
I have been pregnant twice before, I gave birth twice before, I am the proud Momma of two beautiful boys (14 and 9) and I thought I was ready and prepared for this pregnancy.
As a woman have you ever had this kind of conversation where you suddenly get emotional or excited or euphoric or even angry and furious? Your voice gets louder. Your hands move more while you talk. At least according to the eldest of my two sons.
I never tried to be particularly cool, but it seems, somehow I found the secret to relating to my 14 year-old.
Maybe it has to do with the fact that I was barely out of my teens when I got Bucky, or that I am still sometimes a child/teenager at heart myself.
All I can say is that, the way I am doing it seems to be working. So, I decided to share my experiences with all of you.
Last week our beloved German Shepherd, aka grandma, aka my mother, turned 60.
Every year over the last decade I have made it my priority to make that one day in her life special.
