The Making Of Halloween Wonderland – Part Two

So much to do and so little time! Here is Part Two of my Halloween Wonderland series. (Please also take a look at Part One!)

Today I would like to show you the second of our four Alice in Wonderland costumes…

The Mad Hatter.

The Hatter has always been one of my favorite characters, not only because Johnny Depp played the part (though it helped (≧▽≦)!!), but even before Tim Burton’s perfect interpretation of this classic.

His quirky and colorful personality make the Mad Hatter definitely one of the most interesting inhabitants of Wonderland.

As mentioned in my last post, my husband cannot participate in this year’s Halloween event, so my eldest, William, will take over and become the Mad Hatter in our Halloween Wonderland.

And this is the making of his costume:

I hope you enjoyed this video. I can’t wait to see my son wearing the outfit and I promise to share the best pictures with you on October 31st in the Halloween Edition of Helena’s Infinite Shades of Life.

Before the above mentioned Halloween Edition, there will (hopefully) still be one more episode, Part Three, of “The Making Of Halloween Wonderland”.

So stick around and look forward to the making of the last two costumes!

  1. You did a great job on the hat. My favorite Alice in Wonderland character is the Cheshire cat because he’s mischievous. Good luck with your costumes, I’m looking forward to reading part 3 or the Halloween post.
